What you will do
As manager, governance and business improvement, you will lead work that improves how the sheriff's office operates.
You will guide a team, deliver practical improvements and provide trusted advice that supports lawful and consistent services.
You will:
- lead a team to deliver effective governance, policies, procedures and business improvement work
- design, deliver and review clear operating policies, service standards, instructions and forms
- provide high-quality advice, reports and briefings on complex operational matters
- build strong working relationships that support business improvement and operational performance
- monitor key risks, improve processes and lead complex projects that support organisational goals.
About you
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is desirable. Experience leading policy, governance or business improvement work will help you succeed in this role.
You should also have:
- strong experience developing operational policies, processes and guidance material
- proven ability to lead business improvement and strategic policy work
- excellent research, writing and problem-solving skills
- confident leadership and the ability to build productive working relationships.
