About the Role
Yahweh Care is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable and professional Female Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing one-on-one support to a participant located in Maroubra, NSW.
Due to the participant's personal care needs and individual support preferences, a female support worker is required for this particular role.
The successful candidate must have excellent English communication skills, a mature and respectful approach, and the ability to provide consistent ongoing support.
The position will initially provide approximately 12–15+ hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on the participant's ongoing support needs.
Location Requirement – Please Read Before Applying
We are specifically looking for candidates who live:
- In Maroubra, or
- In a surrounding suburb within approximately 10–15 minutes' drive of Maroubra
You must be able to reliably travel to the participant's location for all rostered shifts.

- Be a female Disability Support Worker
- Be mature and professional
- Have fluent spoken and written English
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be compassionate, patient and respectful
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have previous disability/NDIS support experience
- Be available for approximately 12–15+ hours per week
- Be committed to providing consistent ongoing support
- Be available to start ASAP
- Be comfortable working independently and following the participant's support plan
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Relevant Disability, Individual Support or Community Services qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Working With Children Check, where required
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Own reliable and appropriately insured vehicle
- Valid Australian working rights
- All other required NDIS compliance documentation
