- Fully remote. No micromanagement. No corporate nonsense.
- Perth base. Stop flying to site all week every week.

A blank canvas in WA. Strong backing. Real autonomy. Uncapped earnings.
And the chance to make your mark while being well rewarded for it.
Following a recent acquisition and significant investment, Geared Engineering is entering its next chapter.
New systems. New technology. New processes. A completely new approach to growth.
That’s where you come in.
As the WA Business Development Manager, you'll be given something most salespeople talk about wanting but rarely get.
Freedom. No micromanagement. No KPI dashboards being waved in your face every morning.
Just a territory to own, a market to grow, and the autonomy to run it like it's your own business.
Big gear. Critical components. Blue-chip mining customers. From undercarriages on Liebherr, Komatsu, CAT and Hitachi equipment to wear components used throughout CHPP operations.
You'll decide where to spend your time, who to target, and how to build relationships. The leadership team isn't interested in tracking your every move. They're interested in results.
And when Friday rolls around, the team knocks off at 1pm. Every week.
The culture is equally refreshing.
No corporate theatre. No inflated egos. No politics.
Just good people who know their craft, back each other in, and get stuck in when something needs doing.
And with uncapped commission, there's huge earning potential.
YOU
If you've spent years in mining, understand undercarriages, wear parts and mobile plant, and have a contact list full of maintenance managers, superintendents and procurement leaders, this could be your chance to stop flying to site and start capitalising on the relationships you've spent years building.
You might currently be a BDM, Sales Engineer or Account Manager selling and supporting mining equipment, components or wear parts.
What matters most:
- Established WA mining relationships
- Commercial drive and self-motivation
- Enough technical knowledge to confidently discuss equipment undercarriage and components
- The ability to work autonomously and deliver results
A mechanical trade background is highly regarded, and the ability to read drawings and understand equipment specifications would be an advantage.
If you've got the network, the technical credibility, and the ability to turn conversations into opportunities, you'll have every chance to build a very lucrative career here.
Opportunities to build a territory from the ground up don't come along often. And one with genuine backing, autonomy and earning potential? Even rarer.
