Full Job Description

Troppus IT & Management is a fast-growing managed services provider located in East Victoria Park. We are looking for a ‘switched on’ Level 2 Systems Engineer with proven experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.

The position offers a challenging role in a dynamic and friendly team environment. The successful candidate will be working with a team of support engineers to provide proactive desktop and server support for a range of business customers across multiple industries.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with escalated helpdesk tickets
Providing on-site & remote IT & Communications support to clients
Contact for customers via phone support
Setup and configuration of computers and peripheral equipment
Maintain the office workplace and equipment
Prepare devices for deployment
Document client network information and procedures
Assist with helpdesk phone support when necessary
Travel to work directly at client site locations from time to time
Backup and Dashboard monitoring and maintenance
Assist with pickups and deliveries
Assist with site installations as required
Assist other staff members as required
Train and mentor junior team members
Manage/Assist with projects (new deployments, migrations and upgrades)
Participate in the early & late shifts and after hours on-call rotation roster
Maintain suitable and timely logs and documentation for all hours and work done
Any other task or activity requested for which the incumbent has the skills and knowledge

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICTIONS:

Experience in Hardware and Microsoft/Apple Environment
Microsoft 365 experience
Basic Networking skill
Self-motivated and able to work quickly and efficiently without supervision
Organisational skills and ability to mentor junior team members
Strong work ethics, initiative and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills at all levels
The ability to be a productive and collaborative team member
Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Any certifications or vaccinations required for Client site visits
Acceptable National Police Clearance
Desirable skills and qualification include; Common switch, routers & firewalls, SDWAN
Technology, Common Antivirus and Antimalware Solutions, Backup and DR
Solutions, ConnectWise, SolarWinds RMM, Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Certifications,
CompTIA A+, MTA (Windows OS, Server and Cloud administration)

The remuneration package will be negotiated based on your relevant skills and experience.
