About the Role
The successful candidate will provide professional massage and therapeutic treatments tailored to each client's individual needs. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of client care while maintaining a professional, welcoming and safe treatment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations to understand individual needs, concerns and treatment goals.
- Assess clients and determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans.
- Provide a range of massage and therapeutic treatments according to client requirements.
- Apply techniques such as remedial, relaxation, deep tissue and other appropriate massage therapies.
- Maintain accurate client treatment records and notes.
- Monitor client responses to treatments and adjust techniques where appropriate.
- Provide clients with advice regarding aftercare, stretching, relaxation and general wellbeing.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and professional treatment area.
- Follow workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Maintain professional standards and client confidentiality.
- Manage appointments and communicate professionally with clients.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to provide a positive client experience.
- Keep up to date with relevant massage therapy techniques and professional practices.

Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this position, applicants should have:
- A relevant qualification in Massage Therapy, Remedial Massage or a related field.
- Previous professional experience working as a Massage Therapist.
- Demonstrated practical experience providing massage treatments to clients.
- Knowledge of workplace health, safety and hygiene requirements.
- Current professional registration or membership with a relevant industry association, where applicable, will be highly regarded.
- Relevant insurance and first aid certification will also be viewed favourably.
