About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Casual Disability Support Worker to support a participant located on the Brisbane Southside.
This role focuses on assistance with daily living and community access, empowering the participant to live independently and engage in meaningful activities.
Location: Brisbane Southside, QLD
Employment Type: Casual
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful support with daily living tasks
- Assist with personal care and household routines
- Support community access (appointments, shopping, social outings)
- Assist with medication administration (as required and trained)
- Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Follow NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies
About You
- Experience in disability support, community care, or aged care (preferred)
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or Disability (desirable)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach
- Reliable with flexible availability
Mandatory Requirements
- ✅ Female applicants only (as per participant request)
- ✅ Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- ✅ Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- ✅ Current Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- ✅ Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- ✅ Completed Hand Hygiene training module
- ✅ Experience or training in Assistance with Medication Administration
- ✅ Current driver’s licence
- ✅ Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- ✅ Full working rights in Australia

Pay: $33.00 – $62.00 per hour
