Bombay Dhaba is a vibrant, high-volume Desi family restaurant located in Upper Mount Gravatt. Known for serving authentic Indian street food, traditional curries, chargrills, and late-night Masala Chai, we offer our community a bustling, welcoming dining experience. Because our restaurant operates round-the-clock to feed Brisbane's late-night crowds, we are looking for motivated and energetic Front of House All-Rounders to join our team, specifically for evening and deep late-night shifts.
Shift Schedule Notice:
- This role explicitly requires availability for late-night and overnight shifts (finishing late into the night / early morning hours).
- Weekend availability (Friday through Sunday nights) is highly prioritized.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience working in a busy commercial restaurant or fast-casual environment is highly regarded, but a positive, "can-do" attitude is essential.
- Transport: Because shifts conclude late at night when standard public public transit may be limited, having a reliable personal conveyance/vehicle is strongly preferred to ensure safe travel home.
- Communication: Strong, fluent English verbal communication skills are necessary to interact professionally with our diverse customer base and coordinate clearly with the kitchen crew.
- Stamina & Flow: Strong physical stamina to stand and move quickly for 4 to 6-hour shifts, while maintaining an approachable, enthusiastic personality during high-stress rush hours.
- Compliance: A current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a distinct advantage for serving licensed beverages.
Pay: From $26.44 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
