Banksia Bakehouse | Barangaroo
Banksia Bakehouse is a busy and popular bakery, operating two venues in Sydney CBD. This role is for the newly opened venue in Barangaroo.
All products sold in shop are made and baked on-site by an experienced and skilled team.
The Role
This is a Monday - Friday position, with 7:20am-4:30pm working hours. A Short Saturday shift may also be an option if interested.
You will be working in a team of 3-4 baristas at any one time (you +2 - 3 others). We are extremely busy, and have dedicated roles within the coffee station. These roles rotate every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Dialling in grinders and maintaining espresso consistency
- Producing high-quality espresso and milk-based beverages
- Managing workflow during peak service periods
- Maintaining clean and organised coffee stations
- Supporting front-of-house service and customer engagement
- Upholding presentation and service standards
- Contributing to a disciplined, team-driven culture
About You
- Experience as a barista in a high-volume café
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Professional presentation and communication
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
