We are looking for an Estimator and Mechanical Engineer to join our team here at APR Engineering!
The Role

Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimation / Quotation
- Review enquiries, specifications, drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates and quotes for customers.
- Analyse job scope, labour, material and time requirements for jobs.
- Collaborate with our Workshop team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Profit and Loss, reporting to management: ensure the site is operating profitability.
- Ordering material.
- Prepare jobs and related documents for Workshop.
Skills and Experience:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Proven 2 years minimum experience in a similar role.
- Be self – motivated and have the ability to work under pressure.
- Be flexible, a quick thinker and able to prioritise tasks extremely well
- Be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel (OPTO software knowledge a bonus)
