About the role:
The System Consultant provides operational support and system expertise to ensure the effective functioning of learning and development platforms across the organisation. The role is responsible for system maintenance, data accuracy, user support and troubleshooting, while contributing to process improvements that enhance the learner experience. Working closely with Learning & Development colleagues, IT teams and system vendors, the System Consultant helps ensure learning systems are reliable, user‑friendly and aligned with workforce capability needs.
The People Services Unit supports the department to build workforce capability through the provision of a broad range of learning and development programs and other whole of department initiatives. The Learning and Development team manages the department's learning and development programs, providing mandatory compliance training and development opportunities to VPS staff, leaders, and executives. They also oversee the PDP process and supporting systems for OurPeople Learning, performance development plans, and LinkedIn Learning.
