The Role
Due to continued growth and our commitment to delivering uncompromising service, we have a full‑time position available for a qualified Mechanic, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately service and maintain diesel engines (fire pump sets), essential service systems, and associated equipment, ensuring our high standards of personal service are upheld at all times.
You will also receive in‑house training to inspect and test fire protection equipment—allowing you to contribute to the bigger picture while expanding your skills and career potential.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Permanent or full Australian work rights
- Excellent knowledge of diesel engines
- Sound understanding of engine electrical systems (highly regarded)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid technology and computer skills
- Pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A genuine desire to learn and continually improve
- Willingness to travel (state‑wide on occasion)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
