Reporting directly to the General Manager of Operations, you'll lead a portfolio of seven centres across the Sunshine Coast & Moreton Bay area while partnering with specialist Support Office teams including Property, Finance, Family Engagement, Marketing, Compliance, Program & Practice, HR and Recruitment.

About the Role
As Area Manager, you'll create the conditions for your Centre Directors and their teams to succeed.
You'll:

Coach and develop Centre Directors to become confident, capable and accountable leaders
-
Build strong leadership teams and identify future talent and succession opportunities
-
Drive quality improvement, child safety and Assessment & Rating readiness
-
Support centres to achieve sustainable occupancy and commercial performance
-
Use centre performance and operational insights to identify where support or intervention is needed
-
Build positive relationships with educators, children, families and local communities
-
Partner with Centre Directors through challenges including people leadership, performance, staffing and centre operations
-
Work collaboratively with specialist Support Office teams to remove barriers and improve centre performance
-
Partner with the General Manager of Operations on strategic and operational priorities

About You
You're an experienced multi-site operational leader who understands that your success comes through the success of the leaders you support.
You'll bring:

Demonstrated multi-site leadership experience, ideally within Early Childhood Education and Care
-
A genuine coaching and mentoring mindset

Strong experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams
-
Sound understanding of quality, compliance and operational excellence
-
Commercial awareness and confidence working with occupancy, staffing and financial performance
-
The ability to adapt your leadership approach across different centres and leadership styles
-
Confidence having constructive and sometimes challenging conversations
-
A collaborative, authentic and values-led leadership style
-
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise across multiple services
Essential Requirements

Relevant leadership experience and Early Childhood qualification/s.

Current driver's licence.

Working with Children Check / Blue Card (or ability to obtain).

Ability to travel regularly across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay portfolio.
