We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Aged Care and Disability Support Workers to join our team across Sydney.
About the Role
As a Support Worker with Frontida Caring Services, you will provide individualised support to clients in their homes and within the community.
Depending on the client's needs, your duties may include:
- Personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Social support and companionship
- Transport to appointments, shopping and community activities
- Community access and participation
- Medication prompting and assistance where appropriate
- Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
- Providing respite and general in-home support
- Supporting clients to maintain their independence, dignity and choice
- Completing accurate shift notes and reporting any concerns
- Following individual care plans, workplace policies and safe work practices
What We're Looking For
We are looking for people who are caring, respectful, dependable and genuinely passionate about supporting others.
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience in aged care, disability support or community care
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or another relevant qualification preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check, where required
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance
- Australian working rights
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience supporting clients with dementia, falls prevention, medication assistance, mobility needs or complex care is highly regarded.
