Dermal Therapist / Beauty Therapist

Key Tasks and Duties
In this role, you will:
- Consult with clients to assess their skin concerns, treatment requirements and desired outcomes.
- Examine and analyse clients’ skin and recommend suitable treatments, products and ongoing skincare programs.
- Perform customised facials and advanced skin treatments safely and professionally.
- Provide beauty treatments and skincare services in accordance with client needs and established treatment protocols.
- Operate relevant skincare devices and treatment equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions, workplace procedures and applicable safety requirements.
- Monitor clients throughout treatments and adjust treatment plans where appropriate.
- Advise clients on skincare routines, treatment aftercare and suitable cosmetic and skincare products.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client consultation notes, treatment plans and progress records.
- Photograph and document treatment results where appropriate and with the client’s consent.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Recommend and sell appropriate skincare products and treatment programs based on individual client needs.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment and work areas to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
- Clean, disinfect and prepare instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control procedures.
- Manage treatment bookings, client follow-ups and other administrative duties associated with client care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, product education and team training.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Fayshell team to achieve clinic, client-retention and service-quality objectives.
Skills and Experience
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Hold a minimum Diploma of Beauty Therapy with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor of Dermal Science with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Have at least one year of experience working in a clinical or professional skincare environment.
- Have previous experience performing advanced skin treatments.
- Have strong knowledge of skin health, skincare ingredients and treatment protocols.
- Are confident discussing and recommending appropriate products and treatment programs.
- Have excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are committed to maintaining professional hygiene, safety and client-care standards.
- Are passionate about sharing your skincare knowledge and helping clients achieve meaningful results.
