We pride ourselves on doing the little things well and providing our clients with a cleaning service they can trust. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner to join our team.
About the Role
As a Cleaner with Clean Kangaroo, you'll provide high-quality cleaning services across a range of client properties.
Your work may include residential cleaning, office and commercial cleaning, end-of-lease cleaning, and builders cleans, depending on bookings and experience.
This role would suit someone looking for flexible part-time work who enjoys practical work, takes pride in leaving a space looking its best, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Priority Work Days
Our current priority days for this role are:
- Saturdays
- Sunday afternoons
- Mondays
- Other midweek days as required, depending on client bookings and availability
Availability across the priority days will be highly regarded. Hours may vary from week to week as our client base and bookings grow, so some flexibility is ideal.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of residential and commercial properties
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and common areas
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces
- Emptying bins and maintaining tidy spaces
- Completing deeper cleaning tasks when required
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely
- Following client instructions and Clean Kangaroo cleaning standards
- Reporting any property damage, maintenance concerns or issues
- Providing friendly and professional service to our clients
- Working efficiently to complete jobs within the allocated time
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Hardworking with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Friendly and professional when interacting with clients
- Comfortable with the physical requirements of cleaning work
- Able to follow instructions and cleaning checklists
- Flexible with working hours and locations
- Available on some or all of our priority work days
- Committed to maintaining a high standard of work
Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred but not essential — training can be provided for the right person.
Requirements
- Valid Australian working rights
- Reliable transport and ability to travel between cleaning jobs
- Valid driver's licence preferred
- Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Availability for part-time/casual shifts, particularly Saturdays, Sunday afternoons and Mondays
- Cleaning experience is an advantage
