Female Disability Support Worker – Springfield & Ipswich

Ardor Care is a registered NDIS provider currently seeking reliable, experienced and compassionate female Disability Support Workers to support female participants in the Springfield and Ipswich areas.
The role will primarily involve 4-hour shifts, providing a combination of in-home support and community access.
Applicants must have availability on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Please only apply if you have regular availability during these times.
Our participants are looking for someone who is calm, patient, reliable and able to build a genuine connection while supporting them to maintain their independence and access the community.
One participant uses a wheelchair and requires wheelchair-accessible transport. A wheelchair-accessible van is provided for these shifts, so you must be confident driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
These positions would ideally suit someone who already works in disability support and is looking to pick up some additional regular shifts.
About the Role
Depending on the participant, supports may include:
- Community access, shopping and appointments
- Social outings and companionship
- In-home support and assistance with everyday activities
- Domestic assistance
- Supporting participants to maintain their independence
- Driving participants in the community
- Driving a wheelchair-accessible van where required
- Completing progress notes and other required documentation
- Communicating appropriately with participants, families and the Ardor Care team

- Confident working independently
- Good communication skills
- Able to build positive and respectful relationships with participants
- Previous disability or community support experience is highly regarded
- Confident and safe driver
- Regular availability on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Right to work in Australia
- Blue Card where required for participant supports
