Home Care Support Workers/ Personal Care Assistant
About the role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at the Australian Community Aged Care in Elizabeth and nearby Northern Suburbs, SA. As a casual employee, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality in-home care and support to our elderly and disabled customers, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Providing domestic assistance, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities, offering companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring client well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of care
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support.
- A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Valid Aged Care and NDIS Check
- Police clearance (completed in last 6 months)
- COVID-19/ AND Current Flu vaccine required.
- First Aid and CPR
- Manual Handling
- Must be Pet Friendly (Client has dog, cat and birds)

Pay: $40.00 – $47.00 per hour
