A fresh chapter is opening on the harbour.
Adina Sydney Darling Harbour is reopening following a full refurbishment, a premium apartment hotel in one of Sydney’s most vibrant waterfront locations.
Located on King Street Wharf, only a short walk from Barangaroo, the CBD and ICC, the hotel offers 114 spacious studios and apartments designed to give guests comfort, flexibility, and space to stay their own way.
This is a rare opportunity to join the team ahead of reopening and help shape the guest experience from day one.
Introducing Shoreline Kitchen.
At the heart of the hotel sits Shoreline Kitchen, a new all day dining concept open to guests and locals alike. A warm, relaxed space where every interaction counts, from the first coffee of the morning to the last drink of the evening. It’s a place where attentive, genuine service is what sets the experience apart, and where our Food & Beverage Attendants are at the centre of it all.
About the role
As a Food & Beverage Attendant at Shoreline Kitchen, you’ll be the face of the guest experience, welcoming people in, reading the room, and making every visit feel personal. You’ll move fluidly across service areas and be part of building something great from the very first day.
You’ll work as part of a close-knit Food & Beverage team, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. You’ll be hands on, guest facing, and an essential part of the Shoreline experience from day one.
What you’ll be doing
- Welcome guests warmly, provide attentive table service, and ensure every interaction feels personal and professional. You manage seating, take orders accurately, and deliver food and beverages promptly, always with a smile.
- Develop strong knowledge across food, beverages, and specials so you can make confident, genuine recommendations. Guests trust your suggestions, and you love sharing your enthusiasm for what’s on offer.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across all areas of service. You will assist with stock rotation, restocking, and keeping preparation areas running smoothly.
- Move comfortably across restaurant, bar, café, in-room dining, conferences, and events when required. Wherever service is needed, you’re ready to step in and do it well.
- Communicate effectively with your team and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. You’re reliable, engaged, and the kind of teammate people love working alongside.
About you
You’re passionate about great service and genuinely interested in food, coffee, and beverage culture. You bring energy and care to every shift, whether it’s a quiet weekday breakfast or a full Saturday dinner service. You’re a team player who takes pride in the details.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in a hospitality or customer facing role, preferably within Sydney’s vibrant F&B scene
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Confidence using POS systems and a willingness to learn new technology
- Hold an RSA, and have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
