The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Chain & Distribution Manager to oversee and optimise our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence.
You will be responsible for inventory planning, supplier coordination, warehouse operations, transport scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products are delivered efficiently and on time to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day supply chain and distribution operations.
Coordinate inventory planning, stock replenishment and demand forecasting.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Oversee warehouse and logistics activities to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
Develop and implement strategies to improve service levels and reduce costs.
Analyse supply chain performance metrics and prepare operational reports.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance and workplace safety standards.
Lead and support warehouse and logistics teams.
Collaborate with sales, procurement and operations departments to improve customer outcomes.
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Warehouse Management role.
Experience within food distribution, FMCG, wholesale or hospitality supply industries is highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics and warehouse operations.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyse data and make informed operational decisions.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Proficiency in ERP, warehouse management and inventory systems.
Understanding of transport scheduling and distribution networks.
Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field will be advantageous.
What We Offer
Competitive salary of $78,000 – $85,000 plus Superannuation.
