We’re looking for a senior Learning & Development Specialist to help lift capability across our business — from frontline retail teams to operational and corporate leaders.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner closely with leaders, design practical learning solutions, and bring our people strategy to life in a fast-moving, safety-critical environment.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll play a key role in building the skills, leadership, and capability our business needs to succeed.
No two days look the same — you might be designing a leadership program, rolling out learning across retail sites, or partnering with external providers to deliver best-in-class solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and deliver engaging learning programs across leadership, operations, and frontline teams
- Partner with leaders to understand capability gaps and turn them into practical solutions
- Bring our People Strategy to life through learning and development initiatives
- Lead leadership development and capability uplift across the business
- Ensure compliance and safety training is effective and fit for purpose
External partnerships (a key part of the role):
- Source and evaluate external learning partners and solutions
- Run selection processes (think: finding the right fit, not just the biggest name)
- Manage relationships with providers to ensure quality, impact, and value
- Embed new solutions into the business so they actually stick
What you’ll bring
- Solid experience in Learning & Development (ideally in multi-site or operational environments)
- A natural ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Strong design skills — you know what good learning looks like
- Commercial thinking when working with external providers
- The ability to turn strategy into something real, practical, and impactful
