The role
Play a pivotal role in shaping the financial performance and strategy of Adbri’s Cement division. This is a highly visible business partnering role where you’ll work closely with operations across VIC, NSW and nationally to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
You will bring a commercial mindset, challenge the status quo, and provide clear, actionable insights that influence key decisions at both operational and leadership levels. With a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, you’ll help optimise performance while supporting major initiatives and investment decisions.
This role is located at our Port Melbourne office.
Responsibilities

Partner with operational leaders to influence financial outcomes and drive performance, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and delivering meaningful financial insights.

Support margin improvement, cost optimisation, and asset utilisation through data-driven analysis and initiatives.

Provide robust financial modelling and analysis to support capex, opex, and broader business cases.

Maintain strong governance and compliance, identifying risks and driving continuous improvement across financial processes and controls.
What you will need to succeed
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role within a complex, operational environment.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate financial insights into action.

Advanced analytical capability and experience working with financial systems and tools such as SAP, SAC, or Power BI.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage and partner with both operational and senior stakeholders.

A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering results.
