(Rail Safeworking) Track Protection Officer
A Track Protection Officer is responsible for planning, implementing and managing worksite protection in accordance with the TfNSW / Sydney Trains Network Rules & Procedures to ensure the safety of workers, rail traffic, and the public.
This role provides safe access to the rail corridor, ensures compliance with safeworking requirements, and maintains effective communication with Network Control, Protection Officers, Safeworking Coordinators, and worksite supervisors.
Please Note:
Succesful Applicants who are not yet qualified will be required to undertake and obtain respective rail safeworking qualifications.
This training and courses are provided by accredited external RTO providers and are not paid for by MCR. Course and Training fees will be the responsibility of the applicant

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights
- Physically fit and able to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical and Drug & Alcohol test
- Must have a valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport

TfNSW Qualified - Protection Officers Levels 1-4, Handsignallers levels 1-2, Safeworking Level 1
RIW card with current RISI, Cat 1 medical
Sound Knowledge of Sydney Trains Network Rules & Procedures
Commitment to safety and continual improvement
Excellent communication, situational awareness and teamwork skills
Must have a Drivers licence and reliable transportation
