About the Business & the Role
Treadcare is a trusted Australian-owned company and one of the major tyre wholesalers across VIC, SA, and QLD, supplying metro and regional markets. As we continue to expand our operations, we are partnering with a key client who operates depots in both Melbourne and Brisbane.
We are currently seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to be based at our Brisbane depot, supporting our client’s fleet and operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, work within a supportive team, and play a key role in maintaining and servicing vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including trucks
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, and steering systems
- Perform tyre rotations
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure fleet reliability
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified Motor Mechanic
- Proven experience working on vehicles, trucks, and machinery
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with electrical systems (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- Right to work in Australia
Preferred (but not essential)
- Experience in the tyre industry or transport/logistics sector
- Exposure to fleet maintenance in a commercial environment

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
