About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to contribute to patient care and patient flow within the hospital setting, which may include acute, sub-acute and outpatient services, by assisting Occupational Therapists to provide optimal clinical services and manage therapy resources.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide therapy programmes and interventions performed with direct or indirect supervision
Obtain relevant patient information, including where appropriate, the administering a defined range of clinical screening assessments, as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation.
Communicate effectively with the treating Allied Health Professionals regarding patient status and outcomes of interventions provided, and any other information relevant for patient care.
Actively contribute to the multidisciplinary team through attendance at department meetings, projects and activities, and undertaking administrative duties.
