The Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Rheem Sales team based out of our Melbourne Office covering the New Home space. Reporting to the State Sales Manager VIC/TAS, you’ll be responsible for growing volume, revenue and margin across key segments within the domestic new home and medium-density project space. You’ll build strong relationships, win new business, and ensure Rheem is specified and selected across projects.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across VIC new home and medium-density project markets
- Win and develop partnerships with builders, developers and plumbing networks
- Target Top 100 home builders and secure new project opportunities
- Manage pricing, quotations and project tracking through CRM
- Promote product solutions and secure specifications on key builds
- Maintain strong relationships with merchants
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights
- Deliver regular sales updates, forecasts and reporting
- Support customer training, product promotions and industry engagement
About you
The role would suit a driven Business Development Manager with experience across the plumbing and building industry who is committed, passionate, energetic, and reliable. You will also have:
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in construction, plumbing, or building products
- Strong network across builders, developers or merchant channels (highly regarded)
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Self-driven with the ability to manage a territory and pipeline
- Confident communicator with a relationship-first approach
- Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities
- Current driver’s licence
