Licensed Venue Security Officer – Friday & Saturday Nights

Fortitude Protective Services is looking for sharp, reliable Security Officers to work the door and floor at some of Sydney's leading pubs, clubs, and licensed venues.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, skilled at reading a room, and able to resolve tense situations through good judgement and communication rather than force. If you have a strong presence, a professional manner, and genuine experience in licensed venue security, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking IDs and managing entry to the venue
- Monitoring patron behaviour and identifying potential issues early
- De-escalating conflict and managing difficult patrons professionally
- Ensuring the venue operates safely and within its licensing conditions
- Conducting regular patrols, including outdoor and smoking areas
- Responding promptly to emergencies and assisting with evacuations if required
- Maintaining a visible, professional presence throughout the shift
- Keeping accurate and clear incident logs and reports
Requirements
- Current NSW Security Licence (mandatory)
- Current First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (mandatory)
- Proven experience in licensed venues, crowd control, or nightlife security
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- A calm, composed manner in high-pressure situations
- Availability for Friday and Saturday night shifts is mandatory
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
