Melbourne Sports Institute is currently recruiting enthusiastic Basketball Referees to join our team for Inter School Sport Competitions in Term 4 2026.
We are currently recruiting basketball referees to work with our client schools located in the following and surrounding suburbs: Dandenong, Keysborough, Mulgrave, Noble Park, Berwick, Pakenham, Cranbourne, Narre Warren, Beaconsfield, Lynbrook, Lysterfield, Clyde North, Hampton Park, Doveton, Endeavour Hills, Sandhurst, Casey, Skye and Officer.
We offer competitive rates starting from $40 per match with an opportunity for back-to-back games!
The season runs throughout Term 4, from early October till early December.
Fixtures are played on Thursday and Friday afternoons between 12:00pm – 3:30pm.
Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further refereeing opportunities throughout the year.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
- Have a strong understanding of basketball and the rules
- Experience in playing, coaching or refereeing the sport
