Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in engines and vehicle mechanical systems using diagnostic equipment.
- Inspect, remove, repair and replace worn or damaged components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension.
- Carry out scheduled servicing such as oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups and general maintenance.
- Reassemble and test repaired components to ensure safe and reliable vehicle performance.
- Use manufacturer service manuals and technical information when required.
- Conduct vehicle safety and roadworthiness inspections and identify repairs required for compliance.
- Ensure all work meets workplace safety requirements and relevant automotive standards.
