The Limestone Coast Local Health Network is seeking an experienced Senior Debt Management Officer to lead revenue and debt management activities across the Network. Working within the Finance team, you will oversee complex debt recovery matters, monitor collections performance, provide expert advice on debt management processes and mentor Revenue Officers to achieve key performance outcomes.
This role is responsible for ensuring effective debt recovery, customer support, reporting, compliance with debt management policies and continuous improvement of systems and processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, Shared Services, external debt collection agencies and private health funds to deliver high-quality financial services that support the sustainability of healthcare across the Limestone Coast.
You are an experienced finance professional with a strong background in debt management, revenue collection or financial administration. You are solutions-focused, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering excellent customer service while leading continuous improvement and supporting your team.
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Demonstrate experience managing complex debt management and revenue collection functions.
- Have proven leadership or mentoring experience within a finance or administration environment.
- Possess exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to exercise sound judgement when managing confidential and sensitive financial matters.
