What’s Involved
- Provide a high level of customer service to Production Department, ensuring tools, materials and equipment are readily available for consumption into projects

Deliver warehouse and logistics services across Austal facilities, including receipting, put-away, picking, packing, and stores ticket processing in line with Supply Chain procedures

Operate forklifts and perform yard activities safely, including loading/unloading trucks whilst maintaining an operator license and general material handling

Manage inventory activities including stock take, cycle counting, Kanban replenishment, and maintaining accurate stock records

Support warehouse operations including consumables issuance, PPE picking, freight coordination, warranty handling, calibration support, and safe decanting of chemicals
You’ll Need
Essential
-
Current forklift license
-
Current driver’s license (manual license is advantageous)
-
2+ years relevant Warehousing and Logistics experience (experience within Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisation is advantageous)
-
High level of attention to detail with accurate receipting, inventory handling, and system transactions (ERP experience preferred)
-
Strong commitment to health & safety, with good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Desirable

Dangerous Goods (DG) handling experience

Certificate III in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain

Participation in High Performing Team training
-
Experience using ERP system IFS for receipting, inventory, and transactions

Basic Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills
