Located in the heart of Sydney’s Inner West, Lewisham Nursing Home is a warm and welcoming centre known for its strong sense of community and unwavering commitment to high-quality care. The home accommodates 92 residents across a combination of nursing and hostel-style living, creating a diverse and engaging environment for both employees and residents. Your Role Will Include:
- Assisting our residents with personal care needs such as showering and dressing
- Supporting daily living activities including mealtimes, mobility, and social engagement
- Working collaboratively with our clinical team to follow individual care plans
- Accurately documenting care and communicating effectively within the care team
- Providing respectful, high-quality support to residents, their families, and the wider community
What We’re Looking For:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studies
- A caring nature and genuine desire to support older people
- Friendly and confident when interacting with people from all walks of life
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable, positive attitude and commitment to working safely
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check and obtain NDIS Worker Screening clearance
