IGA Ravenswood is looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to take ownership of our growing Takeaway Department.
About the Role
As the Takeaway Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining food safety standards, and helping grow the department through great food and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook takeaway food to a high standard
- Manage daily operations of the takeaway department
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Monitor stock levels and place orders when required
- Minimise wastage and control food costs
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
- Develop and introduce new menu items and specials
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Manage the Team

- About You
- Previous cooking or takeaway experience is a must
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Reliable, hardworking and well organised
- Passion for food and customer satisfaction
