About You:
- You are an experienced Employment lawyer with specialist Employee Relations expertise
- You have strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, modern awards, discrimination laws and workplace health and safety obligations
- You are experienced dealing with employment regulators including the Fair Work Ombudsman and IR Commission
- You have the ability to monitor legislative changes and industry best practices, recommending updates to policies and procedures
- You have experience advising across the full employee lifecycle
- You have experience managing complex employment law matters in large organisations and have the ability to influence, negotiate and simplify complex legal matters
- You have strong commercial awareness and risk management capability
- You have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- You have experience operating at a senior leadership level
- You are comfortable liaising with multiple internal stakeholders and teams
- You have the ability to manage external facing issues
- You have the ability to hit the ground running and work autonomously
- You have a minimum of 6 years' experience
- You have the ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the organisation
- A current practising certificate is not essential
- You have the right to live and work in Australia
