Join the Emergency Department at Redland Hospital and play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based care to a diverse community. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll provide high-quality emergency nursing while continuing to develop your clinical skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will:
Deliver person-centred emergency nursing care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes in a busy emergency setting.
Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety initiatives and evidence-based practice while embracing continuous learning and professional development.
Take ownership of your professional practice, mentor junior staff where appropriate and help foster a positive, supportive team culture.
About you:
We're seeking compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurses who is passionate about emergency nursing and committed to delivering outstanding patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. You have:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with demonstrated emergency nursing capability.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Excellent communications skills who builds positive relationships and contributes to a respectful workplace culture.
A commitment to ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice and delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care every shift.

Bayside Health Service encompasses five public health campuses being Redland Hospital at Cleveland, Marie Rose Centre at Dunwich North Stradbroke Island, Wynnum Manly Community Health Centre 'Gundu Pa', Pandanus Ward at Casuarina Lodge, Wynnum Manly and the Redlands Satellite Health Centre 'Talwalpin Milbul' at Redland Bay.
Bayside Health Service provides services within the hospital and community setting such as Emergency Care, Primary Health and Minor Injury Care, Acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
