Base Salary $162,528 + 17% superannuation

To support our ambitions for enhanced alumni and donor engagement, we are investing in the team’s capacity and now seek a Deputy Director (Alumni Engagement and Benefits ) to drive meaningful engagement with our diverse community.
The role directs the creation of meaningful engagement strategies that ignite alumni pride, build strong community relations, garner brand awareness, and serve as a motivational driver for alumni to reconnect with the University of Sydney.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and passionate Deputy Director (Alumni Engagement and Benefits ) to lead the Alumni Relationship team to deliver high value and meaningful engagement with our diverse global alumni community. The role is responsible for building and driving engagement with alumni portfolios, including pipeline engagement strategies that effectively nurture long term relationships with our most prominent and influential alumni.
We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder who can take a creative approach to identify and maximise opportunities to lead the team and to build strong connections with a portfolio of alumni ranging from recent graduates to esteemed leaders.
The Relationship Management team is an integral conduit between the central Alumni and Supporter Experience team and colleagues in the Faculty and Schools. The four Relationship Managers have distinct portfolios and priority projects and each report to the Director, Alumni Experience.

is an expert at stakeholder management . You enjoy collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to increase alumni engagement , advocacy and drive the benefits program
has p roven experience in managing high-value relationships with alumni, donors, and stakeholders , including academic partners to establish and implement the annual engagement plan
presents with highly developed emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills
h as proven experience identifying and leveraging opportunities that drive benefit for members or stakeholders such as tangible alumni benefits
is analytical in their thinking and has an ability to research, formulate and present high-level oral briefings and presentation
ca n demonstrate project management skills
experience designing and delivering partnership proposals, alumni events, or engagement strategies.
The Alumni and Supporter Experience team engages with a diverse community of almost 500,000 alumni through a wide range of communications, events, volunteering programs, fundraising, and engagement initiatives.
Our alumni have achieved remarkable feats and are consistently ranked among the world's most employable graduates. They include Nobel laureates, Pulitzer prize winners, Australian prime ministers, humanitarians, teachers, inventors, medical innovators, and thousands like them who have changed lives all around the world.
A key aspect of the role is to lead the four relationship managers in their liaison with Deans and Heads of School within the assigned portfolio to execute on the annual engagement plan with regularly reporting on engagement metrics.
