Camden Council is seeking a motivated and experienced people leader to join our City Presentation team and play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and liveability of our rapidly growing community.
In this leadership position, you will provide day-to-day supervision, and operational support to a dedicated team responsible for delivering high-quality street sweeping and cleansing services across the Camden Local Government Area (LGA). Your leadership will help ensure our public spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
The successful applicant will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of cleansing activities across public domain assets, including roads, footpaths, cycleways, car parks, and other public spaces. You will foster a positive team culture, promote safe work practices, manage resources efficiently, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery to meet the needs of a growing community.

Essential:
- Qualification in Cleaning operations
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and leadership in relevant work area
- High level of competency in the use and operation of street cleaning plant and equipment
- Ability to operate and train staff in the use of plant and equipment associated with street cleaning
- Experience in traffic control requirements for street cleaning operations
- Demonstrated ability to apply WHS and EEO principles
- Customer service orientated
- Relevant qualifications for Selection and modifications of traffic control plans (or preparedness and ability to obtain) and WHS General induction for Construction Work NSW Card
- Current MR or HR Class Drivers Licence
Desirable:
- Knowledge of mechanical / hydraulic operations of street cleaning equipment
- Local Government experience
