We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Coordinator to help bring our brand to life across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that great social content isn’t about posting the same thing four times. Each platform has its own audience, language and style — and we’re looking for someone who instinctively knows how to adapt content so it feels native to each one.
You’ll be responsible for creating, planning and publishing content, capturing behind-the-scenes moments and product content, and helping us build a consistent and recognisable presence across our social channels.
What you’ll do
Create content that people actually want to watch
- Shoot engaging content on an iPhone, including products, processes, behind-the-scenes content and day-to-day moments.
- Create Reels, TikToks, carousels, stories and other social-first content.
- Be comfortable appearing on camera to demonstrate products and bring content to life.
- Edit content natively within Instagram and TikTok, using tools such as Instagram Edits where appropriate.
- Use Canva confidently to create polished graphics and carousels without relying on generic, cookie-cutter templates.
- Use Premiere Pro when a larger or more involved edit calls for it, but understand that fast, platform-native editing will be the default.
- Bring a strong instinct for what feels authentic and engaging — and what feels forced, dated or “cringe”.
Make each platform feel different
You’ll create content specifically for:
- Instagram — visual, engaging and community-focused
- TikTok — native, entertaining and trend-aware
- Facebook — accessible, relevant and community-oriented
- LinkedIn — professional without being corporate or boring
You should be comfortable adapting the same idea into different formats and voices rather than simply copy-pasting content across platforms.
Build consistency
- Help establish and maintain a consistent visual identity and tone of voice across our social channels.
- Develop recurring content pillars and series that audiences can recognise.
- Keep our content feeling cohesive while still allowing each platform to have its own personality.
- Spot opportunities for new content formats, trends and ideas that make sense for our brand.
Plan ahead
- Plan and schedule content at least a week in advance.
- Maintain an organised content calendar and keep upcoming content moving without needing to be chased.
- Balance planned content with timely and reactive opportunities when something worth posting comes up.
- Work independently while knowing when to ask for direction or input.
Use AI intelligently
- Use AI tools to speed up ideation, caption writing, content planning and editing where useful.
- Know how to take an AI-generated starting point and turn it into something that sounds genuinely human.
- Use AI as a creative tool and productivity aid — not as a substitute for judgement, taste or originality.
Nice to have: Paid social
Experience running and managing Meta and/or TikTok paid social campaigns is a significant bonus.
This isn't essential for the role, but if you have experience with paid social, campaign setup, targeting, creative testing and optimisation, we'd love to hear about it. It would be a valuable addition as we continue to grow our social presence.
What we’re looking for
You don't necessarily need years of experience. We're more interested in what you can actually create and how well you understand social media.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have experience creating content for multiple social platforms.
- Understand the differences between LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Have a strong eye for visual content, pacing and storytelling.
- Can confidently shoot and edit content yourself.
- Have solid Canva experience.
- Are comfortable using Instagram and TikTok's native editing tools.
- Are comfortable getting in front of the camera when needed.
- Have a good instinct for trends without blindly jumping on every trend.
- Have strong attention to detail and a consistent eye for brand.
- Are organised and capable of planning content ahead of time.
- Can work independently and take ownership of the social calendar.
- Are curious, creative and willing to experiment.
- Know how to use AI to work faster while keeping the final output authentic.
Deep analytics and reporting experience isn't essential. An understanding of what's performing and why is useful, but this is primarily a content creation and social media role, not a data or reporting role.
The role
- Casual: approximately 2–3 days per week
- Flexible structure, with a combination of content creation, planning and publishing.
- We're open to someone early in their career who has a strong portfolio and is keen to develop, or someone with more experience who can hit the ground running with minimal oversight.
- The level of experience and rate will reflect the amount of direction and support required.
How to apply
Please send us your CV and, most importantly, examples of your work. You can apply via Indeed or email at [email protected]
We'd love to see social content you've created yourself — particularly Reels, TikToks, carousels or other short-form content. If you have examples of accounts you've managed, tell us what you were responsible for.
A portfolio doesn't need to be polished or agency-style. We'd rather see content that demonstrates good judgement, creativity, personality and an understanding of what works on social media.
