The Ranch Adventure Park is looking for an enthusiastic, organised, people and experienced-focused Camp Manager to lead our camp operations and activity team.
Set on 200 acres of stunning landscape on the Mornington Peninsula, The Ranch is an adventure hub where thousands of students visit each year to experience school camps, outdoor adventures, and personal growth. With archery, flying fox, mountainboarding, high ropes and rock climbing, every day is different.

About the Role
As Camp Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our school camp programs, ensuring every group enjoys a safe, engaging and memorable experience.
You'll lead the activity facilitators, oversee camp programs, support schools throughout their stay, and ensure activities are delivered safely and to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, solving problems and being actively involved in camp life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the activity team
- Create and coordinate the daily camp activity program
- Conduct camp inductions for students and teachers
- Ensure activities are delivered safely and efficiently
- Build positive relationships with schools, teachers and guests
- Mentor, train and develop activity staff
- Monitor activity equipment, maintenance and stock
- Maintain risk management
- Ensure SOPs, maintenance logs and incident reports are completed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure camps run smoothly
- Identify opportunities to improve programs and guest experiences
Hours
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) working Monday - Friday.

- Has exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Remains calm under pressure and enjoys problem-solving
- Leads by example and supports the growth of others
- Has a proactive approach and enjoys improving systems and programs
Bonus Skills
- Risk management and compliance experience
- Staff training and mentoring experience
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience developing activity programs or operational procedures
Must-Haves
- Over 18 years old
- Current Driver's Licence
- Working With Children Check
- Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications
Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
