This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What you'll be doing?
Unique opportunity to manage two small, remote health services - the Wilcannia Multi Purpose Service and White Cliffs Health Service
Work closely with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Aboriginal organisation Maari Ma
The Wilcannia Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) has a 24-hour 2 bed emergency department and 8 residential aged care beds
White Cliffs operates as a Primary Health Clinic with in hours emergency service and emergency services after hours on call

Lead and co-ordinate the nursing and multi-disciplinary care team

Monitor and manage the business and management functions and processes of the ward or unit.
