Soccer Coach – S4S Soccer Academy (Melbourne, VIC)
Overview:
S4S Soccer Academy is expanding in Melbourne and seeking enthusiastic, reliable Soccer Coaches to join our growing team. We offer a range of academy-based programs across Melbourne, including skill development sessions, advanced group sessions, and coaching for our performance teams.
This is an ideal opportunity for coaches who are passionate about player development and want to work in a structured, football-focused environment that supports progression to higher levels of the game.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and development-focused soccer sessions for children aged 5–12
* Work across multiple settings including schools, clubs, and elite training environments
* Create a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for all participants
* Set up and pack down training equipment
* Communicate effectively with kids, parents, school staff, and the S4S team
* Represent the S4S brand with professionalism and care
* Attend occasional coach development and training workshops
Essential Criteria:
* A genuine passion for football and working with children
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Punctual, reliable, and responsible
* Valid Working With Children Check (VIC)
* Access to reliable transport
Desirable (Not Essential):
* Previous coaching or teaching experience
* Football coaching qualifications (e.g. MiniRoos or higher)
* First Aid certificate
* Playing background in soccer
Availability:
* Sessions run across weekdays and weekends
* Flexible hours available across morning, afternoon, and evening programs
* Opportunities for additional work during holiday camps and special events
