We are currently seeking a reliable Casual AV Technician / General Hand to join our team in Kensington, Melbourne. Whether you're starting out in the industry (beginner-friendly with training provided) or a more experienced AV professional looking for flexible casual work, this role offers great variety and the chance to gain hands-on experience in the events sector.
With over 25 years delivering top-quality audio visual, lighting, staging, and event power solutions, Wwave supports weddings, corporate events, parties, conferences, and more across Melbourne and Australia.
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and pack down audio, visual, lighting, and staging equipment
- Assist with equipment deliveries, pick-ups, and on-site installations
- Help with warehouse tasks, basic maintenance, testing, and inventory management
- Work as part of a small, supportive team on a casual basis (event-driven hours)
We're looking for
- Enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are important
- More experienced applicants are highly valued and can take on advanced technical responsibilities
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle and experience with box trucks is a big advantage
Pay: From $32.50 per hour
