Bateau Bay Hotel is looking for experienced casual team members to work across our TAB, Gaming, and Bar areas. This is a role for someone who already knows the ropes — we need confident operators who can hit the ground running on late-night and weekend shifts.
**About the Role**
You'll be rostered across TAB, Gaming, and Bar shifts — looking after wagering customers, monitoring the gaming room, and serving on the bar when needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate TAB terminals confidently — placing bets, processing payouts, and answering customer queries on form, fixed odds, and tote markets
- Monitor gaming machines and assist customers with payouts and queries
- Provide friendly, attentive service across the bar — pouring beer, wine, and basic mixed drinks
- Operate POS, gaming, and TAB systems accurately
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions with care
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of TAB, gaming, and bar areas
- Comply with all RSA, RCG, and harm-minimisation requirements
**About You**
- **Current NSW RSA Competency Card (essential)**
- **Current NSW RCG Competency Card (essential)**
- **Proven TAB operating experience (essential)** — you must be confident running a TAB independently
- Previous gaming and bar experience
- Reliable, well-presented, and able to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail, especially around cash handling and compliance
- **Available for late-night and weekend shifts**
