We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Co- Educator who is passionate about early childhood education and learning through play. We currently have a **Lunch Cover** vacancy for **immediate start**, and the successful applicant will work with the **4 Year Old group**. The position is primarily to provide lunch covers on Tuesday & Friday, however additional hours may be available for when staff are on leave. The Educator will assists the teacher and educators in our 4 year old long day program by providing lunch cover. The hours are Tuesday and Friday 12pm to 3pm. The ideal candidate will be an experienced diploma certified educator with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing a creative, safe and nurturing environment for our four-year old children. This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced co educator who is keen to be part of a highly regarded, parent-run kindergarten whilst still maintaining a very good work/life balance. Salary: In accordance with the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement (VECTEA 2020). Australian Diploma in Early Childhood Education as recognised by ACECAQ. Minimum 3 years experience. Experience in working in sessional kindergarten highly valued. A Current Working with Children's Check. Able to demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for the National Quality Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and to drive and support other staff in this area. Applicant should be reliable, enthusiastic, dedicated, cooperative and self-motivated. Meet the requirements of the National Quality Standards (NQS) including First Aid Certificate, training in Asthma, Anaphylaxis, etc. Able to demonstrate their ability to provide safe and high quality planned care and educational programs that assiss the overall development of the children attending the Centre. Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to work cooperatively, productively and respectfully with the committee, staff, families and children.
