Cleary Formwork Construction is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a Fulltime position with 38-hour basic weeks.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Formwork Carpenter to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building, assembling and dismantling formwork structures for concrete pours on a variety of projects. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Selecting and ordering materials required and prepare layouts
- Making formwork from timber, plywood or plastic and steel as per shop drawings
- Measuring and cutting wood or metal
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
- erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures
- Safely operating hand and power tools
- Prepared to assist other trades
Minimum Requirements:
- AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field
- Carpentry/ concrete: 2 years (Required)
- Machinery: 2 years (Preferred)
- Construction White Card
Desirable Skills:
- Safety procedures knowledge
- Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in inclusive team
- Valid Driving License and transport desirable
