Your new role:
As a Dental Assistant, you will provide essential support to dental teams by assisting with clinical procedures and/or ensuring the effective reprocessing and management of instruments and equipment required for patient care.
Assist with the preparation of dental equipment, instruments and materials to support a wide range of general and specialist oral health procedures.
Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control, including cleaning, disinfection, sterilisation and monitoring of reusable medical devices and equipment.
Support safe and efficient service delivery by monitoring equipment performance, maintaining stock and participating in quality improvement activities.
Contribute to positive patient experiences by supporting patient wellbeing, assisting clinicians during treatment and helping ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
About you:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Dental Assistants who are committed to delivering excellent patient care and supporting collaborative healthcare teams.
Hold a Dental Assisting Certificate and demonstrate practical knowledge of dental assisting practices and procedures.
Possess a strong understanding of infection control, sterilisation processes, workplace health and safety requirements and quality standards.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Have strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workloads and a commitment to working collaboratively within a team environment.
