White Rabbit Brighton is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef or Sous Chef to join our growing team.
Located in the heart of Brighton, White Rabbit is a busy, well-established restaurant known for its vibrant atmosphere, quality food, woodfired pizzas, and Mediterranean-inspired menu. We are seeking a motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food and service.
About the Role
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail
- Work across multiple sections including grill, pans, larder and pizza
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations
- Support stock control, ordering and minimising waste
- Maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards
- Contribute ideas for specials and menu development
- Lead by example and work collaboratively with the kitchen team
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy restaurant kitchen
- Strong understanding of modern Australian, Mediterranean or Italian cuisine
- Experience with woodfired pizza is highly regarded
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full Australian working rights
