eStore Logistics is the market leading eCommerce and omni-channel third-party Logistics provider (3PL). What are we looking for?
Responsible for the daily operations of the site, The Operations Manager will take accountability for the resolution of complex operational and logistical challenges and uphold regulatory and legislative compliance whilst building an efficient and capable team.
Based at our Marsden Park site in NSW, the successful individual will have the opportunity to lead from the front and utilise their strong leadership skills to help build a high performing workforce, that is safety driven, goal oriented and that win as a team.
You are a respected, hands on leader that thrives on a good challenge and that goes above and beyond in everything you do. You are all about the numbers, you have a knack for investigations and devising solutions to improve processes and you are all about the customer.
What will you do (but not limited to)?
The Operations Manager is expected to ensure the successful operation of a site, encompassing safety, customer service SLA achievement, and direct cost performance through operational excellence.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound SLAs are met daily
- Investigations, escalations and reporting to stakeholders
- Manage site P&L (profit and loss) and MBWA
- Delivery of team training, toolbox talks and site inductions
- Complete administrative tasks (rostering, record management, MHE licensing)
- Team Management, performance reviews and reward management
- Stakeholder engagement, meetings and reviews
- Management of all MHE on site (for example; repairs and maintenance, lodging of faults, daily pre-op checklists, charging, reporting)
- Manage labour planning, performance and productivity reviews
- Drive onsite continuous improvement, optimisation, site projects and safety
- Inventory management (cycle counts, projects, audits)
- Development and maintenance of 5S onsite
What skills/Qualifications will you have?
- Undergraduate degree in logistics, warehousing, distribution or transport preferred
- Background in Continuous Improvement / SixSigma / Kaizen preferred
- 5 years+ operational warehouse leadership experience within 3PL/consumer goods/ecommerce sector
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Well-developed planning, organisational and analytical skills
- Stakeholder Management and Problem solving
- Relationship building and people skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, WMS)
