Lives Lived Well offer a variety of community and residential Alcohol and Other Drug programs throughout Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people every year to navigate AOD related challenges and move forward in life.
Our Rotational Clinicians play a vital role in keeping services strong, responsive and connected. This is a flexible, hands-on clinical position designed for experienced practitioners who enjoy variety, autonomy and making an impact where it’s needed most. We’re looking for two Rotational Clinicians to join the LLW team.
You’ll work across a range of service settings - including residential, community, outreach and day programs - supporting diverse client cohorts across AOD, mental health, gambling and other priority populations. Rotations are planned and purposeful, giving you the opportunity to embed quickly, contribute meaningfully, and support service continuity during periods of change or demand.
Salary for this role is $100,785 - $105,345 plus Super, Salary Packaging and travelling expenses.
This position will suit a clinician who is confident stepping into new environments, builds trust quickly, and brings calm, capable leadership alongside strong clinical practice.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical care while adapting your practice to different services, teams and client needs. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessment, counselling, case management and group facilitation
- Supporting intake, triage, crisis response and continuity of care
- Working flexibly across programs and locations as part of planned rotations
- Maintaining accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Building strong working relationships with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Providing informal leadership, mentoring and practice guidance
- Stepping into acting leadership roles when required to support service continuity
Contributing to clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement

What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, allied health or related field
- Experience delivering evidence-based clinical services across individual and group settings
- Background in AOD, mental health and/or related human services
- Confidence working across different service models and environments
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability and ability to work autonomously
Willingness to travel and undertake rotational placements
