We're currently seeking an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, based at a single site in Karratha.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who wants stable hours and the chance to take real ownership of day-to-day operations.
About the Role
You’ll lead a small team delivering both routine and periodical cleaning at our client's site. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the team, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while also contributing hands-on to cleaning tasks as needed.
This role offers consistent morning shifts, with genuine opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform routine and periodical cleaning tasks to a high standard
● Lead and supervise a small team of cleaners
● Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot cleaning machinery and equipment
● Train, mentor, and support team members in correct cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and equipment use
● Safe chemical usage in accordance with safety data sheets and company procedures
● Monitor and order cleaning supplies and equipment
● Ensure compliance with WHS procedures and company policies at all times
● Liaise with the client/site contact to address any issues, feedback, or special requests
About You
● Live locally in Karratha (essential)
● Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial cleaning role
● Previous experience leading, supervising, or coordinating a small team
● Strong technical knowledge of cleaning chemicals (safe use, storage, and handling) and cleaning machinery/equipment
● Current valid driver's licence (essential)
● Excellent communication and time management skills
● A reliable, punctual, and self-motivated approach to work
● Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties
