About the Role:
We are seeking a Casual Guest Service Agent to deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure. As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in creating positive and memorable stays while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Front Office.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. This casual position operates across a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly and professional approach
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Respond to guest enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Process reservations, room allocations and guest requests
- Handle phone and email enquiries in a timely manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
- Liaise with Housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional Front Office environment
About You:
- Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Guest Services role is required
- Experience using OPERA or a similar Property Management System (PMS) is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation with a genuine passion for customer service
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Flexible availability across a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Australian working rights are required
